Since 1988 he works in Hannover as softwareprogrammer.
He use the photography as hobby since many years: He starts as a young man with the Voigtländer-Kamera of his dad. Beside nature and technic he prefered the people-photography.
Since 1998 he photographs also under water with a nikonos.

He works with a Rollei 6008, a Nikon F4 and a Canon T90.
