Marino is a successful film producer, director, cinematographer and photographer by profession. Born in Bologna, Italy, his visual proficiency stems from a heritage of European sensibilities, studies of art and extensive world travel. Much of his work over the decades has been focused on the human face... "our most astounding road map of complex emotions." His transition into film and video allowed him to create moving and often thought provoking portraiture of over a hundred major celebrities and stars. But he can't shake his passion for creating still images that for one decisive moment capture a most intimate glimpse into the soul of a
woman.
The models Iíve worked with have all been comfortable enough with their nudity and sexuality to allow me to witness their self-exploration, thus revealing and preserving the natural spirit inside of them. These intimate moments become compelling imagery radiating with sensuality and
strength.
My newest work involves pressing the normal image beyond the limits of
recognition. Its like going back to my roots in oil and acrylic painting. Im experimenting with taking the female form and texture-blending her into the primordial the sand from which we all may come
from. Its hard to really explain why Iím doing this. The resulting abstraction is very intriguing. It just looks so great so why not. Its my sand
series.
The sensuality of the human body, both male and female, alone or as couples, has fascinated artists in all media for centuries, and naturally photography is no exception. Revealing sides of women not ordinarily seen... in an instant in time frozen and preserved for infinity is one of the most enjoyable ways to express my vision of the world.
I have been photographing women for more than 30 years professionally. I have shot for websites, magazines, fashion ads and other print uses. I am always seeking models for Glamour, Artistic Nude, and Exotic imagery. My personal thrust is to produce images that are provocative, intelligent, and positive, and to explore the human condition. I challenge myself to create compositions that contain a dynamic tension, forcing the viewer's involvement. I find this approach to be far more inviting than the mere static duplication of
reality.

Closest to my heart are photographs that come from being in the right place at the right time and somehow I've instinctively known how to capture that perfect fraction of a second, freeze it and bring it home for all to
