In addition to being a self-taught artist, Alexandria Georgiades is also an independent film maker, producer, director, and a professional actress. Last year she premiered her first independent motion picture, "Riding the Pale Horse", a modern day Greek mythology with bizarre twists and turns. She also produced and directed the currently hot selling exercise video, Team NRG's Twelve Round Championship Challenge.

Later this fall, Alexandria will be producing and directing a music art-video tentatively titled,"HAIL MARY"

"The artistically visual story line will embody the controversial sensuality of my Nude Nuns, with the enigmatic woman from theological history called, Mary Magdalene. For me, Mary Magdalene represents the much maligned and forgotten Goddess of the ancient Pagan belief systems. Fundamental Christianity has not only stripped this woman of the title of Goddess, and reduced her memory to that of a penitent whore, but has also denied her the basic rights of lover, wife, and mother." 

As an artist, I find the human body to be the most beautiful form of art. Without uttering a sound, it speaks volumes beyond the capabilities of
the spoken word.

Growing up in all over Europe, my childhood was rich in history, mythology, philosophy, religious beliefs, and superstitions. My own philosophies, evolved
from these roots, are the inspiration for my drawn art, photography, motion pictures, and video projects. What I've discovered over the years, as I continue to travel the world, is that we are all the same.
Every human-being, regardless of ethnic origin, responds to art in all its’ forms. Our responses are based on collective and individual belief systems, but we still respond.

It's inherent in human nature to be tempted by the
forbidden. . .Taboo.
